Push notifications automatically sent by the system

Honeycommb automatically sends all sorts of notifications based on transaction occurrences that happen in your community. Transactional notifications include, but are not limited to:

Content Engagement

  • When a post you've created is commented on
  • When a post you've created is liked 
  • When a post you've created is commented on by a verified
  • When a post you've created is liked by a verified 

Profile Engagement

  • When a user opts to follow you
  • When a verified user opts to follow you 
  • When your profile is mentioned in a group, post or comment 
  • When someone who you've subscribed to (post notifications) has created a post 

Conversational Engagement

  • When you are mentioned in a post or in a comment 
  • When a group you're apart of has a new discussion 
  • When a group that you're apart of has a new post 
  • When a comment is made on a post that you've commented on 
  • When you have a new direct message
  • When a comment is made on a post that you've subscribed to 
  • When someone you follow makes a comment on another post (of a person you follow) 
  • When a verified user joins a group chat that you're apart of
  • When you are mentioned in a group chat 
  • When a group you're apart of has an active group chat where members are conversing

Admin Engagement 

  • When a post you've created is featured 

Now, this may sound like a lot of notifications however users have full control over their notifications and can toggle and specify which notifications they would like to receive in the settings section of their app or web product.
