Access the URL of a post from your community using the Control Center
Grabbing a URL for a post is simple! You can use this URL across any form of sharing that you'd like to; in emails, in blog posts, anywhere across the web, really! To access the URL of a post, there are a couple of rules at play:
Private (Closed) Communities:
- URLs for profiles and posts ARE NOT crawled by Google
- URLs for profiles and posts ARE NOT publicly accessible and can be shared via email, text, etc...
- Users MUST be logged in to view a post
Public (Open) Communities:
- URLs for profiles and posts ARE crawled by Google
- URLs for profiles and posts ARE publicly accessible and can be shared via email, text, etc...
- Users do not have to be logged in to view a post
To access the URL of your community, use the control center to...
1. Navigate to your /Posts Page:

2. Click the EXT button next to each post (comment or original post)

3. Copy the URL in your browser and paste it however you'd like to! If you get to a page that looks like this, that just means you're not logged in...
