To support deep linking in your application, you must prove to Apple that you are the owner of the domain before they'll allow you to capture deep links on your domain. For additional resources, please refer to the official Apple documentation.
1. Serve .well-known/apple-app-site-association from apex domain
Apple requires that this file is served from the apex, or naked, domain. For example, if your domain is company.com, the file must be served from https://company.com/.well-known/apple-app-site-association and not https://www.company.com/.well-known/apple-app-site-association.
The file must be served with a 200 response code. It cannot be a redirect.
2. .well-known/apple-app-site-association contents
To automate the integration of new deep links, you should treat https://company.com/.well-known/apple-app-site-association as a proxy. Do not copy/paste the json.
1. Find your application domain in the control center, typically app.company.com.
3. Check Deep Links
Apple will only check deep links once per release. If you are between releases, you must wait until the next release before the deep links are enabled.
