Autocomplete In Chats
Honeycommb supports Autocomplete for chats and direct messaging when mentioning a user
Autocomplete inside of Group Messaging (Direct Messaging) and Group Chats is a feature that enables a user to automatically complete the name of the user that they are trying to enter into the @mention name.
Example:
When the name of the user that you are typing appears, you can "tap" the autocomplete and it will finish the rest of the @mention name in the chatbox.
The rules of the autocomplete system are as follows:
- Autocomplete appears when you are FOLLOWING the user you are trying to write in their @mention name for
- Autocomplete appears when verified is turned on (enabled) for the community and the verified user matches the name you're entering in the chatbox
